  1. I lost two grown sons three-and-a-half years apart. The most inspiring words I heard were, “You will see them again.” And I believe this will every ounce of my heart. We will see our loved ones again, joyously. Peace – ginger

  2. I lost two grown sons, three-and-a-half years apart. The most imspiring words I hear are that I will see them again. I tell this to myself sometimes too. Peace – ginger

  3. you will surprise yourself, you will get through it and after you do you know can beat anything. you will know that you’ve seen the darkest of days and here you are still growing. still full of life.

  4. I miss my son Robert who passed away at age two. It has been 30 years. I would too not let people tell you to get on with life. You take as much time as you need. I would also say too remember all the good times with that person.

  5. I listen to others stories and see where they are now. Itโ€™s inspiring. I can assure others during their loss, grief, and pain by selectively sharing where Iโ€™ve come from not so
long ago. Others normally never thought I couldโ€™ve been in a place similiar or able to relate in any way. Yet, it seems to sort of give a little wind to their sails and is healing for me as well. The most essential advice I ve gotten was to paint a picture of my future aspirations being met and solely that things will be ok and will turn out just as they will.

  6. to get through grieving. The best thing is to keep yourself occupied. Allow time to be emotional but makesure when you are feeling particularly emotional that your with someone close to you instead of on your own.

  7. Grief to gladness….that was hard for me but i worked through it….I went to work everyday and kept myself busy….when I was home I would go out and walk my dog…or I would do some work at home….always kept myself busy…went out with my friends even though I didn’t want too…I always had a great time when I did go out….just keep busy….that’s what I did…
