  1. I am going to be more self disciplined in keep on keeping on. I tend to let everyone distract me. I will learn to say hold on one moment or keep moving while listening or answering.

  2. I’ll read and type up one of my journal entries. Or maybe I’ll finally work on YouTube videos again! It’s been TOO long. School has me booked up! I’ll start brainstorming on a topic for my next video! I keep putting it off so maybe this weekend, I can get back in the groove.

  3. I’m focusing on what my body is letting me know I need. I am having another procedure on my back next week and I want to make sure that I am prepared for the pain that I know will follow. So I am taking it easy and trying not to overdo or push myself too hard. I know it is something I need to focus on all of the time, but sometimes life just won’t let me.
I am so tired of focusing on everyone else…

  4. I am going to let people care about me.
I always push people away because I fear being loved and cared for.
I will stop ignoring people when they try to highlight my qualities, and try harder to accept that I am a worthy human being.
I will stop isolating myself, and open up my heart to love and compassion.

  5. Hi itโ€™s jeanette here ,
To treat myself I am going to find the pleasure of giving rather than receiving , too often the world and the society is about receiving , just today I received a small parcel with things for my journal , it made my day , the world and no one in it owes us nothing really , rather we owe it things by being the best we can and helping others

  6. This week I am going to simply remind myself to ….be still. My mind is always turning and twisting around in itself. When I say….be still….to myself, it quiets down. It’s so nice. It’s a gift I give myself.

  7. My 94 father passed 1.5 weeks ago. He died on the way to his guardianship hearing. Good (God) timing. I prayed that he would get his freedom and he ironically did. This week, I am focusing on health, eating well, exercising and sorting through the memories of my dad. He was abused by his interim guardian–they kept him isolated for 2 months–away from family and people who loved him. I have taken steps to become a certified guardian, to do things right and stop abusive guardianships. So that others will not die the way my dad did–alone & lonely.

  8. I am going to take time to be by myself. I am going to breathe and enjoy that breathing. I am going to allow myself that time to relax and be quiet. I rush around all the time and I don’t even know why. I eat fast, walk fast, clean the house fast, etc. I want to appreciate every moment and live in the present. I want to taste the food I eat and feel the grass under my feet, I want to enjoy the act of performing routine tasks and appreciating that moment. I need to remember to do this. That is the hard part.
