COMPETENT – making an effort

Today, let's deepen our competence by choosing, again and again, to show up for what matters most.

Competence is the willingness to try. It means being able to make the effort, not having this or that experience. Which comes through practice, from learning how to negotiate the various difficulties and continuing to choose to show up. To be competent is to keep an effort in attention going, especially as layers of resistance arise.

With increased competence, unwillingness just becomes another experience to move through as it arises.

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION

Yes, despite all the chaos, I can do this.

It doesn't matter that it's difficult.

I will keep going.
