Hmmm…Strength-I can be extremely positive and encouraging to others. But a definite weakness is it’s easy for me to self sabotage. One way is or rather (was) by allowing negative thoughts to bombard my mind concerning me and comparing self to others. From looks, children, they way homes are kept etc. It’s a terrible place to be. I was created to be me, no one else can reach my goals for me, or love the way I do. I am self aware that I need to love self and treat self better. So today I choose to love me enough to be kind to her, speak kind words to her and do what is best for her.

My greatest strength is also sometimes my greatest weakness, I work hard to make others happy. I want to build them up, support them, help them in any way I know how. Unfortunately that support generally is lacking for myself. I notoriously tear myself down, avoid complimenting myself or acknowledging my achievements. I’ll work my ass off to make sure someone else feels loved and supported and not spend any time trying to work on my ability to love myself.

This is challenging for me as my focus has always been on my children. I am a young mother who has never really focused on myself or really gotten to know myself. I was a single mother raising four children for a long time and I didn’t really have time to sit back and reflect on who I am and what I want in life or for myself. My children are growing up and I have found a partner who has joined me and is now helping me raise my children, which I am eternally grateful for. Now, it is time to figure out me and what I want. I have come along way and I would have to say my biggest strength is my ambition, my drive, my inner strength to keep pushing forward and to reach my goals set out. I have always wanted more than I have and when I set and complete a goal I want more which bring me to my next goal and what I want next. The problem with that and probably one of my weaknesses is I don’t know when to stop because I always want more I wear myself out and… Read more »

Strength: spotting when someone needs help and taking action. I have a lot of close friends because I tend to be the one to come running when it is most needed, from lending a hand in the kitchen to organizing a giant fundraiser for a friend battling cancer. Like Matt, my strength and weakness are connected. I feel like I have no purpose if no one needs me…I literally need to be needed. I’ve been working on developing my hobbies so that my feelings of purpose don’t lie in the hands of others. It allows me to channel of that energy into doing what I love. Working well so far!

Paradoxically, my greatest strength is persistence but my biggest weakness is stopping just short of a goal.

One of my strengths is my passion – I feel things deeply and commit to ideas with exuberance. I will gladly give time and talent to causes I believe in – whether it is a work project, supporting a friend during times of joy or sorrow, or social justice issues. One of my weaknesses is procrastination – with so many things on my plate that I would RATHER do, I easily put off those things that I need to do … even when they are related to goals I aspire to.

I’ve been asked this question on interviews and, in the past, had a difficult time knowing how to answer it. With age comes a certain level of self-awareness and appreciation for my limitations. As a daughter, a wife and a mother and one who has worked in the corporate world most of my life, the greatest strength I’ve drawn on throughout all my roles is that of resilience. In my youth I tried to take my own life because I felt I was a failure. The fact that I didn’t succeed gave me hope anew and I vowed to do better. Throughout my life there’s been challenges, both personal and professional, since that time. To get through them, I remind myself of where I’ve been, what’s important and those that I love with my whole heart. This is the strength that provides me with the resilience I need at the time I need it most.

Strength: encourage others. I love to write a card for someone with an encouraging message. A number of my friends say they have a box of such keep sakes and I’m in there multiple times. And that’s why I like to give a card, because spoken words can be forgotten, an sms can be deleted, but a card, if it is kept lasts forever and can be read again and again.
Weakness: self doubt in my sense of worth, value, and abilities. Thurs why I’m here …

My greatest strength is my love… I can love the ugly and the beautiful. I can reach out to “cast a ways”. I have an amazing gift of discernment. I can find a flicker of goodness in all situations.
My greatest weakness are my insecurities about the future. I need to learn to trust and live in the precious moment. Gods got me covered.

My intention for this project goes much beyond inspiration. It's an inward journey of self-discovery in an effort to create and contribute to something much larger than little ole' me. So thanks for stopping by and in doing so, contributing to the growing evolution of Intention Inspired.
