Each moment brings new awareness if we choose a creative curiosity to examine it. Today, let's see how our creative journaling cultivates self-awareness and empowers us to make a work of art with our life.
Today I will approach the experiences of my day as if they were a “work of art”. I will practice creative curiosity.
Your life is a “work of art” and the more you practice the more clarity you gain.
The more clarity you gain the more self-aware you become. Each experience brings new awareness if we choose a creative curiosity to examine it. Experiment with new actions, try on new colors. Our brain tracks every experience and stores perceptions at the time of the occurrence. It seems as if we see the same challenge and experience over and over because our brain feeds us the same information until we give it new information.
Each time we approach an old challenge or experience and we experiment with a new action, we are rewiring our brain. Each time we are presented with similar challenges and experiences we have gained more knowledge of ourselves. We are new and putting new ideas into practice. This state of being is living creatively.
My life is a constantly changing and growing work of art.
In our creative journal when we experiment we learn and have a better understanding of what might happen.
We know if it is a technique that we want to practice or one we don't care for. We learn what happens when we mix color, add layers, mix mediums. We may begin with nothing but our courage to draw from but as we practice, we grow and we begin to become proficient and more self-confident. The same is true of the challenges and experiences of our lives.
Explain how your life is a “work of art”.
Are you becoming proficient and more self-confident in your journal and your life? Do you see the similarities in your creative journal expression and how you creatively deal with the challenges you face?
What can you see through your keyhole?
I Am Grateful for
