I am grateful
Affirmations

Today's Affirmation

I am grateful because, if only for a few moments, gratitude transforms my perspective of fear and anger to appreciation and contentment. Fear is why I don’t take action on my intentions and anger is why I get stuck. I remind myself that it is impossible to be fearful while being grateful at the same time. Gratitude is my go-to tool for navigating bravely through the journey ahead.

Micro Challenge

Today's Micro Act of Bravery

Today, set 3 gratitude alarms to go off at random times during today.

As they alarm, stop whatever it is your doing and bring to mind 3 things you’re grateful for in that moment 🙂

Gratitude may be perceived as a useful emotion for a greater well being[1], but few people seek it out consciously.

Inspiring Quotes

Words to Ponder

When you are grateful fear disappears and abundance appears.

– Tony Robbins

Something in my environment that brings me joy is my collection of books.
A recent coincidence that left me with a smile was finding out in the same week of signing up for Kobo rewards that audiobooks were being supported. It may be small, but it gave me something to look forward to in the midst of my current stress.
A person I am blessed to have in my life right now is my mom. I have often had problems connecting with her in the past, which makes our current relationship even more previous.

& Something I can see in my environment that brings me joy …I can see a beautiful view from my window; I can see my cats, my lava lamps, my little 3D-printed icon I made last summer with the title of my book, I can see a photo of my mother, and another of my parents on their wedding day. I can see plants and birthday cards from friends for a recent birthday. And I can see a tiny silver polished stone of sorts, with the word “Wisdom” engraved on it, given it to me by a friend I have known for 30 years.
& recent coincidence that left me with a smile … For whatever reason, I cannot think of any coincidences, though I am sure there are many.
A person I am blessed to have in my life right now …I am grateful for all my friends; perhaps two in particular, two women friends, who I resonate with in particular. I have almost no family, but I am grateful that my brother, though a continent away, and I , have forged a closer friendship and sibling-hood in the last ten years.

I am grateful that I found this 30 day challenge as it has given me something to think about every morning and highlighted my thoughts on many different aspects of my emotional self.

Something that I see in my environment that brings me joy, are my 2 dogs!

A recent coincidence that left me with a smile, was when I shared the story of how Eric and I share the same birthday.

A person I am blessed to have in my life right now is my son , Nicholas. He knows me so well, and is always there for me.

Would it be possible to start these emails again, from the start, as I have missed loads of them, this is the first one I have noticed in my mailbox. Thank you

The birds. I love the Florida birds. The waders, Egrets and Herons; the soarers, Osprey and Pelicans; the singers, Mockingbirds and warblers; the show birds, red cardinals and painted buntings; the freeway flyers, Sandhill Cranes and Glossy Ibis; the beach birds, plovers and sanderlings; the laughers, gulls and terns; the raptors, hawks and caracara; the quackers; ducks and widgeons. OMG there are so many . . . coots and moorhens, waxwings and sparrows, crows and jays, limpkins and gallinules, spoonbills and hummingbirds, everyday as I go about my day they are there to cheer, jeer, and bring joy to my day. Birds have always made me feel blessed and grateful.

My intention for this project goes much beyond inspiration. It's an inward journey of self-discovery in an effort to create and contribute to something much larger than little ole' me. So thanks for stopping by and in doing so, contributing to the growing evolution of Intention Inspired.
