See where you've been getting too comfortable and find fortune in pushing that comfort zone.

today I will pay special attention to any areas in nature or certain plants that call me towards it and not hesitate or wait long enough to let my subconscious step in to interfere. I will explore those areas and surrender to where the energy leads me.
Previously curiosity was a big part if my life ; I never hesitated to talk to someone new or go to an event I’ve never been to before, and it always led to something exciting. I’ve become too comfortable but that’s a good problem to have.
I watched a drama thriller (in my opinion also a chick flick) with my wife. It had its moments but I think the adventure part was taking a chance on making reservations during a busy time at work.
I am going to read a book thatโs been ony bed side table for a month now. Iโm curious to explore itโs foreign land in a different time and see where it takes me. I am also starting a one month vegan diet today and Iโm very curious to see how my body responds to the eliminated choices.
Try a new type of workout or have a conversation out of my comfort zone.
Hmm….idk what the “one thing” will be. I think I will surprise myself. I will let go of preconceived notions, stop pre-planning, and just for today I will live awake and see what happens…
I wrote a note to my son. Was not easy, but felt badly, needed to let him know and try and help.
Well, ironically enough, I already did something outside my comfort zone today. I’m not a fan of people dressed up in mascot outfits (I’ve disliked them since I was a kid). Today, I accompanied a mascot for an event, making sure he could get around, taking pictures for his fans, etc. I don’t think I’ll do it again, but I’m so grateful for the experience because it taught me more about this world and its inhabitants
im just waiting for a bot of money then i can get my tablet, but when i do, i might download a game i wouldnt think of playing in my life. who knows, i might like it!
On the walk home after a very long day I realized I hadn’t done the micro challenge. Sure, I had been “brave” all day, but nothing where I deliberately made the conscious choice ahead of time to step outside of my comfort zone. I decided to grab some food from a Lebanese Restaurant I always pass. I ordered and the owner then asked if I wanted a kiss. Um what? I am very much a fan of my own personal space and bubble. But then it clicked – I could still respect that while stretching myself I bit. So I responded with “sure, on the cheek.” The owner was as surprised as I was! Then his 17 year old employee came around the corner. We discussed his favorite item on the menu followed by a quick kiss on the cheek. The part about all of it that makes me happy is that it was all initially meant as a joke, but really it ended up forming a kind/sweet connection (no, I am not interested in the 17 year old, it was more like a surrogate little brother wanting to make sure I eat properly). And now I might just have to go back and try the chicken shawarma.
