Today, listen to the way you talk about your feelings.
We often hear people say they would like to stop having feelings. They, mostly, mention this while suffering from negative emotions. There is a misconception that if we are not happy, then something's wrong with us. All of this is blocking us from experiencing and healthily expressing emotions.
Today, be intentional about expressing your emotions adequately. Don’t just say I am good or okay. Choose your words accurately and truthfully. If you are angry, say it; sad, desperate, frightened, joyful, excited, disgusted, and anxious – let it be known. All of those emotions are equally important, valuable and there is nothing wrong with experiencing them.
