i drink 1 cup of hot tea every morning. 1 coffee maybe once a week and other than that i only drink water……all day long i flush my body out with water water water ๐
I write down everything single thing that I eat. I have been doing this for 12 years. It helped me lose weight 12 years ago and though at this point I have gained back all the weight that I lost, I still write down everything that I ingest.
I did not use to care too much about healthy habits before such as eating well, exercising regularly, etc. Last year, I started caring more about those things. I started using a Fitbit and went from trying to walk 4000 steps a day to 8000 a day (one of my 2018 goals is to maintain 8000 steps/day or increase the number). I try to eat healthier too, although I do not have any specific goals related to that, but mainly I try not to eat any fast food during the week.
Drinking kombucha, nettle tea or ginger tea everyday, keeping my lips hydrated with lip balm that is pure and not harmful, drinking at least 20 oz of water and my goal being 60, brushing my teeth twice a day, washing my face gently at night, i pay attention to any pain and do my best to ease it and adjust my habits, i try to meditate daily and will be able to do that plus yoga almost everyday starting in Feb because i dropped a class in order to have time for those things, i attend counseling every week, i eat a salad everyday, & I’m conscious of my posture ?
When Iโm cherishing my body, Iโm consistent about flossing my teeth, exercising and taking vitamins. For my head, I try to consistently use my compass app, jot down daily gratitudes, use insight timer app for guided meditation and journal.
I work out 4-6 days a week. I do strength training, cardio, and I run a ton. I eat a pretty clean diet. I weigh what I’m supposed to weigh for my height. I will be doing my third 100 miler this weekend. So, at first glance, I thought – I got this!
But that whole “schedule a doctor appointment” thing? Other than going to the eye doctor two weeks ago, I haven’t been to a doctor in over five years! Yikes! Thanks for the nudge!

I use my gratitude journal, I exercise regularly, and I eat mindfully (I do not overeat).
