ORGANIZED – HEALTHY HABITS

Today, let’s arrange our environment in a way that aligns and inspires our goals.

Our energy is like water, while our environment is like the container holding the water. If our environment is well structured, energy will be supported for appropriate use. However, if our environment has no structure, our energy is randomly scattered all over the place and quickly drains. With a well-structured environment, our energy becomes more efficient and can even give us more energy and inspiration towards achieving our goals.

This applies for any healthy habit we are focused on cultivating (e.g., earn more money, increase your performance, get promoted, gain more sales, improve time management, wake up early, quit coke, improve your posture, etc …).

Ready to put this healthy habit into action!?

It’s quite easy, actually. Simply take a moment to answer this question:

How can I change my environment to help me achieve my goal?

It helps to think about how everything in your environment affects each of your senses.

Here are a few examples of how to make some simple adjustments to your environment to help to inspire your subconscious to take more action towards your goal:

]Run every morning: Before going to bed, place your sneakers and running clothes next to your door so you’re ready to roll out of bed and run within seconds! Place a piece of chocolate on your kitchen counter as a reminder and reward for when you complete your run.

Less social media: Set your device to automatically switch to ‘do not disturb’ or ‘airplane’ mode during moments throughout the day. Strategically place accessible objects to engage with that will satisfy any feeling of restlessness (e.g., musical instrument, coloring book, Rubix cube, etc).

Eat less: Rearrange your kitchen so food is hidden when not cooking. Prohibit convenient junk food from entering your home in the first place or at least move it to the back of the cabinet and fridge so it’s not so easily accessed.

Meditate daily: Designate a clean, calm space where you can have 10 undisturbed around the same time every day. Put it on the calendar and mark it as urgent.

Be braver: Choose a piece of jewelry that is especially meaningful to you, and can serve as an anchor and reminder to act in ways that stretch your comfort zone.

Soon you will find that with a bit of environmental intention, your goal pursuit process will become a lot more seamless, effortless, and fun!
