SOCIAL – HEALTHY HABITS

Today, let's bring awareness to the impact of our social circles and adjust it in a way that supports a healthier well-being.

‘Out with the old, in with the new!’ Right? Wrong.

This adage doesn’t apply to friends and family we have spent quality time building intrinsic value with. We don’t have to (or shouldn’t) merely drop friends who aren’t as ambitious or positive as we are. Just as we are seeking a constructive environment to grow and thrive in, it is just as important to be that positive impact on the lives of others; while closely monitoring how those interactions affect us in return.

When it comes to changing our social circles in a way that is more conducive to a healthier well-being, there are a few great habits we can develop:

  • Attend classes and events.
  • Finding a mentor who has ‘been there’.
  • Spend intentional time with friends who have similar goals.
  • Find a mentee who you can teach to help you both learn.

… bring to mind your healthy goal …

Now define these two people who you can engage with more to bring more vitality to your wolf pack:

MENTOR: Who is someone (or a community) that has already achieved this goal? How can you bring value to their life in exchange for their guidance?

MENTEE: Who is someone (or a group) that has a similar goal that you work towards it with? What activity can you engage in with this person to consistently make progress towards your shared goal?

By evolving the wolf pack we run with, we dramatically change our future destination. Today, let’s be extra aware of everyone we encounter and intentionally interact with them (or don’t) based on how those people empower us towards our highest envisioned self.
