HUMBLE – Science Study

There are many things in our environment we can’t even pick up with our human senses.

Other animals make sounds we can’t hear, smell things we can’t smell, can see ultraviolet light, and can sense magnetic fields or electrical currents.

Thus, human perception is imperfect.

The truth is we all make mental mistakes. I repeat: every single person on this planet, no matter his or her IQ, perceives reality differently. Even experienced, intelligent leaders made bad judgments.

Bottom line: We all experience cognitive biases and distortions, meaning we all literally perceive the world differently. Some examples are here and here.
