Analytical thinking is best suited for tasks with which you have experience with and things that do not change with circumstance, for instance, you create your accounting document in excel the same way each time, even when the income and expenses change, the process is the same.

Creative insight, however, is better suited when there is ambiguity, uncertainty, and variability. All of which is relevant to matters of the heart since people’s psychologies changing throughout their lives and even moment-to-moment based on their current state of mind and well, the power of the aha moment. Do not underestimate the power of insight.

An “aha” moment of insightful understanding outmodes analytical understanding when it comes to matters of the heart.
