Day 30 – LOVE
Today, let's bring it home with a big picture reflection that will empower us to embody pure love in the days, weeks, and years to come.
Love isn’t anything you have to do any type of “work” to experience. That’s what the statements above imply. Love is the essence of who we all are, love exists within and around us. Love is something we constantly have the ability to tap into. We can lose site of this at times when we are too caught up in our own heads, but it is always there, always willing, all we have to do is open ourselves up to it.
Love 2.0 was just as amazing as the first time around <3
These statements say that love is only about one person and it is not. It has many faces and it is not always romantic.
I feel like my answer to this prompt might change after I have had a chance to properly reflect on this particular journey, but I still feel compelled to share what I am experiencing currently. For me – this challenge has shown to me, yet again, that I already have all of the answers. I have everything that I could ever possibly need within me. I just need to believe in it and make a point to connect with it. I have found myself focusing too much on the idea of love coming from others, but when we learn to go within and truly love and connect with ourselves than everything else just sorts of falls into place naturally… with out us seeking it. I absolutely LOVED this series Amy <3
More than anything, what Amy has helped me understand is that once all the monkey chatter quiets down and I am left with my stillness, love is what remains. Love is my essential nature, always living and thriving within me. It is not contingent on anything/one outside of me. Always available to tap into and develop. Now if that’s not a journey worth pursuing, I don’t know what is (:
It’s always hard to explain. Because a lot of people do believe love should be with held unless in a special relationship. But i always tell them…there are many forms of love. I love a partner differently than I love my child. And I love my child differently than I love the stranger in line at the grocery store. But i love them all. Because love is always present…in actions, in words, in feelings. Kindness and empathy are something that I always try to be about…because for me…that’s the easiest path to love…to giving love always and receiving love always.
