READY – Micro Challenge

Today, let's find support in your journey with an accountability partner.

Choose an accountability partner from our Facebook Group or invite a friend to take this challenge with you. Having an accountability partner means you each commit to checking in with each other every day. It could be a simple message to ask, “What have you learned today?” or “What did you realize about today’s intention?”

Emotional eating expert Meaghan McElroen gives this analogy when speaking to clients who feel discouraged after “slipping up” with a meal and then proceed to binge eat for the remainder of the day or week…

When you are driving and get a flat tire, you don’t get out of the car and pop the other 3 tires.

The same is true here. If you miss a day, don’t worry about it. You can go back and do the ones you missed later. In order to encourage you not to “pop the rest of your tires” by feeling overwhelmed, just begin the challenge again from the new day’s exercise.
