I dont know what I want but I know what i donโt want. Knowing what I donโt want can help me slowly figure out the things I do want.
New truth is that my thinking about future, feelings and about me has governed me. But this is a thinking. Not necessarily the true. And That I have been harsh on my self and I need to go little by little.
I don’t know if it’s false truths. I am a believer at heart. I believe in taking a moment to breath when shit hits the fan. I know that whatever I am going through will come to pass and it’s not here to stay. One day i am going to think back and laugh. And what’s life without challenges? How else can one be strong and grow if everything is always rosey?
I believe. I have hope. Everything it’s going to be alright.
I have recently come to understand the importance of self compassion and common humanity. I realized that self compassion will not make me weak or pull
Me away from my goals, but rather enable me to get back on track and recover faster. I am learning that these isolating experiences are actually common to all humanity and even though I can feel alone, I am in fact sharing an experience with many others.
That I absolutely love and adore Amy! <3 I had never thought about fear as a thermostat. It's so incredibly helpful! It changes/shifts the perspective entirely to allow me to actually be grateful for the fear to allow me to reassess and realign. It changes my perspective to be able to use my fears – to really look at them more so in terms of what they are trying to show me, rather than getting caught up and stuck in the fear itself.
What the ‘going deeper’ section said about fear being an alarm to thoughts. Fear isn’t creating the damaging thoughts, it’s warning us that the thoughts are damaging.
