CENTERED – MINDFUL MOMENT

Today, pause to center yourself before taking action on something.

Imagine that when you feel scattered, your energy is also scattered: in the past, in the future, in your worries, in your plans, and with other people you are thinking about. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and imagine gathering up all of your scattered energy and drawing it right back into your body. Breathe deeply into your belly. Focus your awareness on your heart center and take a few breaths until you feel that “all of you” is back in the present moment, and you feel clear and aware.
