PRESENT – MINDFUL MOMENT

Today, find a time to just sit and just be.

This might be at a coffee shop, at home, or on your lunch break at work. Give yourself about 5 minutes to practice being present. Open your eyes and notice everything around you: sounds, smells, people, nature, sunlight, the breeze, etc. Try witnessing and observing your surroundings without getting distracted with tangents of thought. Just keep listening, watching, noticing. This is what being present really means: keeping your mind in the moment.
