Why do I always take care of others before myself? I never seem to want to take care of myself. I ask if what I am doing is good for others before myself. I end up hurting myself every time.
Why is it so hard to help the ones you love? I’ve been working with a counselor to work through this – getting tips and tricks on ways to help, but it’s so frustrating when someone hurts so much, and you try to help to no avail. The hurt deepens, the frustration continues.
One question?! Only one?! I keep a little notebook with me at all times to write down all the questions I want answers to which come up over the day… there are many traits I want to work on, but I feel being curious is one I have in the bag. Being curious feels innate to my core being. “Passionately curious” has become a bit of a personal mantra for me even. For me there is no effort required, I simply AM curious.
