Day 3 – EMPOWERED

My playfulness. I always thought that to be mature was to be unplayful, but I’ve lived my most authentic, rewarding, and challenging life since I embraced my playful side.
My patience when I am being tested by so many people and things at once. I am usually quick to stop a person and say my thoughts about whatever it is they are bothering me about, so to speak. I have been putting my patience before my brutal honestly, as my sister says, and just let people go on and just not say anything to them. I don’t have to calm myself down after giving my personal lecture. 😊
I think my unique thing is people. I’m always good for a laugh, quick witted and just very empathetic towards others.
I’m proud that I have empathy for others and think deeply about their perspective. I’m proud that I try to learn something new everyday.
Oh it’s easy. No, not the way I developed or worked on/for them but to choose 🙂
It’s my wit (well I could say kinda sarcastic and brilliant sense of humour but wit sounds more delicate hahahaa), my resilience which was not earned easily and my endless curiosity. <3
The most important achievement that I am so proud of – for me – is that I have WONDERFUL AMAZING FEMALE FRIENDSHIPS!!!!! I have never been able to truly connect, share, be myself, take the time and BE a true friend to women. Always toooooo wrapped up in my male significant other. The best part and how I know I’ve arrived is that I’m not afraid to be vulnerable and share who I am, my faults, crazy ideas, dreams, fears, etc. with women I truly love as soul sisters. I always felt envious of other people who had real friends that they hung out with, had dinner at each others’ houses, impromptu plans, shared real thoughts and feelings. I didn’t know what was wrong with me. And I became so closed, judgmental and negative to defend or compensate for my inability to achieve real intimate relationships with friends. It is the most fulfilling things I’ve every done. Invite people in! Share your food, time, gifts of your soul, your patiently listening ear – to those you love and who love you. There is nothing better!
