I am grounded

Day 1 – GROUNDED

1 min

If we don't have our feet under us, we are quickly derailed by the distractions of life. So today, we will focus on grounding ourselves in the physical sense by checking in with our body and senses. This is prime us for the coming days as we also focus on our mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

  1. I am grateful my body allows me movement day after day to take in daily life and our natural surroundings … Now it is my part to find a way to cherish my body and treat it with more respect.

  2. I guess I am grateful for my body. I haven’t had the best past year in loving myself. But I love my breasts, my bum. I love my eyes and how capable my hands are. I’m working to make my home (body) a better place. My soul getting stronger, better, healed will need a cherished, loved place to dwell.

  3. I am greatful for my body because it is kind and patient with me and puts up with my bad habits. My body has grown two beautiful children and allows me to move, go to work and care for the people I need to care for.
It’s now time for me to take care of my body and learn to love and respect it.

  4. I am grateful that my body still functions well despite the fact that I am not always kind to it. It has allowed me to create life. It is able to do some pretty miraculous things.

  5. That it’s a tough cookie, petit but super strong, and that despite that I ‘betrayed’ it many times, and it paid back with a chronic disease, far not as serious as it could be. When my mind wanted to ‘push through’, my body was much wiser and said stop. So I’m grateful for that wisdom and resilience.

  6. I like many others forget & take our bodies for granted until sometimes an illness, pain or hurt are created & hopefully not to late to remind us to be grateful for this temple we own & embrace ❤
