Adventurous quote by Marie Curie

“Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.”

– Marie Curie, a pioneer in the field of radioactivity, was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and the only person to win a Nobel in two different sciences (Physics and Chemistry). Her adventurous spirit in the realm of science revolutionized our understanding of the world.

Avoiding failure is to avoid progress.

Avoiding failure is to avoid progress.

In the embrace of failure, we find our greatest lessons. It's a stepping stone to growth, an essential part of the journey toward success. Let this mantra remind you that every misstep is an opportunity for growth, a chance to push the boundaries of what you thought was possible. As you repeat these words, consider what failures you're avoiding out of fear, and how confronting them could be your next step towards progress.

🙏 MICRO ACT OF BRAVERY

Let's evoke our subconscious intelligence by adventurously engaging in creative brainstorming practice that will shed some interesting light on the mysteries that elude us.

  1. Bring a brave goal to mind. What aspect of this goal eludes you? What aspects of this goal remain a complete mystery?
  2. With pen and paper in hand, gently hold these curiosities and mysteries in mind.
  3. Begin writing down any random words, phrases, shapes, squiggles, and doodles that come to mind.
  4. Allow the pen to wander freely and creatively without any self-judgment or criticism of what is being created.
  5. Observe, with curiosity. Notice the waves of thought, continuing to allow subconscious insights to come to the surface.
  6. When your creative doodling feels complete, choose one simple micro act of bravery you can commit to today that will allow you to deepen into the mystery of your adventurous journey.
    • For example, perhaps you're simply inspired to ask a stranger a completely random question, go for it! Courageously trust your intuition with affirmative action.

  1. I’d say lack of confidence is holding me back from taking action. And the fear of leaving my comfort zone. I really would like a new job, but the people I work with are super nice and I’m pretty comfortable here and they like me. But I am just not growing here and I’m relatively bored. I’m also nearly 58, so I am feeling ageism, when I have applied for other jobs. Breaking free and out of my comfort zone is my next action step

  2. When i was in university, there was a subject that i was very interested but i was fear to take it because this subject was taught by a very sarcastic lecturer. She allocated 40/100 of participation mark in her subject, which means if i take the subject i must participate in every class, if not i will fail the paper. However, i was not able to speak in front of people, because i scare people judge me, especially those who score a high grade in class. Hence, i choose to give up this opportunity and not given myself a try. In fact, I had given up so many chances in life, such as job opportunity, opportunity to get improvement. Now, i don’t want to let my fear controlling me anymore. I will cope with my anxiety and keep moving on.

  3. I have always been afraid to ask for help. If people know I have a problem they won’t like me anymore. My husband asking me to leave and get help was the best thing for me. I had to set aside my fear and get help. Ask friends for help. Get professional help

  4. Performing for people. Letting people see what I can do and have been learning. Even one on one, I get embarrassed and think I’m not good enough. And it’s silly because some people may not even know what I know! And if they know more, what a great opportunity to learn from them.

  5. The fear of not being successful, not talking to people about the opportunities I offer and therefore not taking action, stopping myself from actually succeeding. Better understanding that failing forward is success, taking action is success, and overall redefining what success is will actually help me succeed and push through fear

  6. I spent the weekend with my boyfriend and friends and one of the girls was enchanted by and very engaging with my partner throughout the trip. This made me feel very uncomfortable, yet I couldn’t say anything as I thought each one was responsible for themselves and I didn’t want to be preaching or be the jealous girlfriend setting up boundaries. Maybe I could have a conversation with either? Still uncomfortable…

    • So I spoke with her and had a very interesting conversation. She apologised and said only because he was committed she felt safer to be more engaging and open with him then she’d be with single men, given she understood that it wouldn’t be perceived as flirt. I was scared of talking about it yet it was worth the chat.

  7. I’m afraid of saying what I really need to say. I agree with others to keep them happy especially my husband.
I want to be brave to say what I need.
