It’s the small goals. One debt paid off… one small activity outside my comfort zone. Little things to keep me moving forward
reignited confidence. amplified bravery. commitment.
Remember that:
– I shape the world that I live in. The world I see and interact with is my world (from my perspective). I am enough and I can make it the best I can listening all with embrace (or treat myself as a victim of circumstances)
– I’ll never know 100% where I’ll get, but I know chances are high of getting through to it when I pour my heart and give my best at each instant. And if I don’t make it, that very giving my best shapes my relationship with myself others and life in a way that is so fulfilling!
– I will look at others as heroes and an inspiration for me to grow and develop myself
– I wish to treat others with love but also myself, my body, my money, etc, as it tells me a story that I am worth it. And I now know I am 🙂
– That any journey of overcoming (ie. Roy’s Peak) has a power to remind me of who I am and what matters to me most and rebuild my relatedness w/ myself & life in less than a day!
– I can calculate my steps forward to empower my hero, listen to the goofy kid that’s afraid, pour my heart on the cause/beauty to mobilise action, know any steps builds myself and my brave heart, reach out for clarity and connection, and embrace the vulnerability of love in loss, the hope and connectedness in fear, and want in anger as tools at my hand.
– That I am moved by and inspire in others beauty, wisdom, and experiences with diversity, holism, and curiosity
– That my gratefulness and love for life simply doesn’t fit in my heart. It’s blows me out
There has been so many insightful moments. It’s ironic because every single time I have completed the brave series my original goal and what I gained from it usually end up being two completely different things.
My goal this time around was to authentically believe in myself in a leadership capacity, and while I have gained that, and really understood a bit more of who I want to be as a leader. I think really the key thing for me this time has been really trying to get to a space of peace in uncertainty. Taking my fears of the future and turning them into excitement, really trusting and believing that even though I don’t know exactly how things will pan out, they will all lead to great things.
I’ve also recognized that although I am initially resistant, there is such power and truth in being vulnerable enough to share and show up.
So something I’m going to incorporate into my daily routine? Well. I think having the courage to be vulnerable is something I need to flex a bit more. So I’m going to make it a point to dive in when I’m feeling something strongly, figure out what’s going on, what I need to see/learn/grow, and then share with others as appropriate.
Remembering I always have a choice and that I am not my impulses and/or feelings and that often they are misleading. That’s why I have installed the “Pause button” into my own personal life and plan to use it daily. It gives me the clarity I need to separate my mind from brain and make good decisions!

Thank you for the Journey
I love that you have haircuts in there :).
What a great journey it has been!
Saying out loud when I’ve fallen into one of my fear patterns and then talking it out so I can get back up and move forward!
I am going to write daily and submit my work to contests and journals. I want to be published and I am going to allow myself to be rejected. I am going to have faith in my own writing and stop telling myself I am afraid. Thank you.
While I was worried, I did what I wanted to accomplish. I wore shorts. It wasn’t the best outfit, but I walked out in public, showing my hairy legs and I didn’t feel self- concious. I got no States or weird Comments and I didn’t boil in my clothes like I would with pants. I feel cooler in the heat and more confident in myself. Most importantly, I got closer to truly loving myself and my body. I will continue to wear shorts when I feel like it and I will continue my loving legs self care routine to give them (and the rest of my body) the love it needs and deserves.
What a wonderful journey and I am so thankful to Matt And the intention inspired team for providing this for me.
What was the most insightful thing you learned about yourself in the past 30 days?
The most insightful thing I learned about myself is how strong I already was, and how brave I already was. But somehow in the past I let fear and doubt and excuses and cynicism and bitterness overtake my mind. When I began to shed those off, I revealed the strength and bravery that I already had and then began to make it stronger. I realized that I was setting myself up for a lifetime of regret. I realized that failure, loss, pain, and setbacks are not bad.
How have you noticed your brave training empower others around you to be brave too?
Yes, I’ve already begun to teach all of my friends and even strangers about the new perception I’ve gained. I’ve already given people a plentitude of advice. I’ve helped people work on their own life components and situations. I’ve had a few friends start this bravery challenge as well who have sincerely thanked me.
What is one thing that you are going incorporate into your daily routine to help you live a brave, bold life?
Everyday I’m going to give myself micro challenges whenever I can. I’m going to always remind myself that fear and failure are not bad things and embrace them when they happen. I am going to enjoy life’s journey and stop worrying about the destination. I want to stop and smell the roses… And not worry if the thorns prick me. I want to aim for an amazing, fulfilling life that I can look back on with little to no regrets. I am going to make this the best life I’ve ever lived!
