🦁 MICRO ACT OF BRAVERY
Try asking three consecutive ‘whys’ to someone today.
Take notice of how generic responses can be broken down into meaningful answers when you show someone you’re truly interested in getting at the heart of what they are saying.

📓 JOURNAL PROMPT
Bring to mind a fear that you would like to overcome.
🤔💭
Now, ask yourself and journal your answers to the ‘3 whys’:
- Why does this fear make you feel scared and uncomfortable?
- Why does it matter to you that you overcome this fear?
- Why have you previously been unable to overcome this fear?

🙌 KUDOS
Nice work! You’ve just completed Day 10 of 30 Days of Bravery 💪🦁
What did today’s session on curiosity inspired?
We’d love to hear in the Activity Feed.

Curiosity is such a magical intention. It invites the interconnected beauty of what is here now to illuminate seemingly anything and everything. Curiosity dissolves my ego as I embrace the fact that I really don’t know much. Today, I will open and surrender into curiosity with courageous embrace.
I’ve been scared of registering to take an exam for a certification, because I am scare of failing it. It’s impostant for me to overcome this fear because I want that certification. Previously, I would just leave ir for next year (there are sittings once a year) and find excuses to justify why I couldn’t study for it or why I wasn’t prepared enough. Now it’s time to take and, if I fail, I will just take it again, and again, and again, until I make it.
I am fear to have a conversation with people who are powerful, or high status. Maybe they are in a high position, such as my lecturer, boss, or top student in the class. My inferiority has caused me to have low self-esteem. I scared that my opinions, thoughts or suggestion will not be accepted by them. Hence, i avoid any conversation with them. The beginning of this year, i went for a job interview. My lack of confidence to talk in front of the boss had caused me to get teased by that boss. I was so helpless and I was jobless until now just because of fear of interview. Previously i was unable to overcome this fear because of unprepared and I didn’t realize that is my responsibility to get off from this fear. Now, I want to make some changes. I do not want to let my fear bother me anymore. I feel really admire to see my friends work with their goal, reach their dream. I believe that I can be like them if I step out from my comfort zone and try my best to reach my goal.
I have a fear of being alone. I thought I would be with my partner forever and he would always keep me safe. I’m scared to get better on my own. I need to do this on my own. I need to get better on my own. So I can be the person he deserves. I have never been put in the position where I have to change. Or lose everything
Singing in front of people is my biggest fear. I’m scared I’m not good and scared of peoples opinions and thier rejection. Showing my vulnerability. I just get so paralyzed being seen that way. I don’t get why I just do. I have to overcome it becuase i don’t know what to do if I don’t. I’ve always taken the safe road in all my decisions and I feel overcoming this means taking control of my life and not playing the victim and being authentic instead just being someone that avoids situations and confrontation. I couldnt get over this fear before becuase i think my mind is just used to giving up to be honest. Like I’ve made a habit. It get hard I quit, it gets overwhelming I run. I can’t finish it today and I’ll do it “tomorrow” the comfort of not knowing or not doing today wins most of the time and feel okay but that stuff ends up eating at me eventually
I fear confronting a loved one who has an addiction. I’m scared/uncomfortable because of their possible reaction – anger. I need to confront my fear, as I need to confront him to help him and move him past to get healthy and safe again. I haven’t been able to overcome it because it is overwhelming.
I have fear of failure and this scares me because I don’t want to make an arse of my myself. I fear that if I take a risk and fail, that makes me a failure. It matters that I overcome this obstacle because fear keeps me trapped from trying anything new. I have not been able to overcome this fear so far because it is much more comfortable to stay in my own litttle bubble instead of venturing out into the world.
I have a fear of phone conversations. Something about the idea of calling someone and talking to them in a manner that isn’t face to face makes me feel awkward. I don’t like conversations as it is, so I guess I worry that I’ll make even more conversational mistakes when I’m talking on the phone. I want to overcome this fear because I know that practically speaking, I can’t avoid talking with people over the phone. There will always be situations where I can’t speak to someone in person and avoiding that fact will only make things worse. I think that perhaps this fear also stems from the fact that I have anxiety, a condition that makes me especially nervous about little things and has probably been a contributing factor as to why I haven’t overcome my fear. No matter how hard I try and reassure myself that things will be okay no what the outcome of my phone conversations, I still feel like a nervous wreck whenever I try to place a phone call.
