🦁 Day 5 of 30 Days of Bravery

👁 INTENTION
Today, let’s acknowledge and release thoughts of inadequacy, practice self-love and embrace our authentic selves—just as we are.

💬 QUOTE

“You are enough, just as you are. Each emotion you feel, everything you do in your life, everything you do or do not do… where you are and who you are right now is enough. It is perfect. You are perfect enough.”
– Melanie Jade

🪄 AFFIRMATION
I am letting go of who I think I should be so that I can become more of who I am. As I journey through life’s ups and downs, I embrace and appreciate who I have become. I share the story of who I am, with my whole heart, by letting my most authentic self be deeply felt and seen. I am worthy of love and belonging because just as I am, right this very moment, I am enough.

📜 POEM

In this moment, let us release
thoughts of lack and inadequacy.
Returning to the love within our hearts,
trusting we are enough, just as we are.
Perfectly imperfect with no need to prove,
worthy of love, belonging, and truth.
By accepting what is, we are set free
to live with wholehearted authenticity.

🧘 MEDITATION
In this very healing meditation practice, we’ll practice clearing our minds of judgmental and critical thoughts. Quite naturally, we return to the compassion and love that is always in our hearts. By connecting to this infinite self-love within, we always know that we are enough.

📿 MANTRA

You are worth it.
त्वं तस्य योग्यः असि।

🦁 MICRO ACT OF BRAVERY
Today, spend time listening to those thoughts of ‘not enough’.
Use some space in your journal to unload all the ways you’ve been telling yourself you are not enough. Then thank those thoughts for helping you better understand yourself, and let them go as you say, “I am enough.”

📓 JOURNAL PROMPT
When you listen to your voices of “I’m not enough,” what do you notice they are really trying to tell you?

We journey better when we journey together.

When I think about opening my business, I can hear a lot of these voices (if I let them): I am not prepared enough, I don’t know enough about how to handle taxes properly or running a business, I am not that outgoing so as to just go to networking events to promote my business, etc. However, all these thoughts come from a place of fear. I can get prepared enough to handle all of these things, and I will learn as I go. It is easier to deal with each toxic thought when you understand where they come from and are able to deconstruct them to see how illogical they really are. It is just the way our mind tries to protect us, but by living in fear we never accomplish anything.
Because I am forced to do things I do not want to do by my parents. I felt I do not deserve to choose what I want in life but now that I realize that I am worthy and I have the right to fight for it.
This was a helpful question to reflect on today. Today whenI heard the voices of “not enough” in my head, I tried to think how I might respond if they were speaking of a dear friend, and realized I would spring to their defense – “You don’t know her like I do! That’s not true.” My takeaway is to use that filter moving forward, taking in areas for improvement while vigorously championing me! 🎉🎉
Those “not enough” voices are trying to tell me that I can actually be better. I am not sociable enough, I am not good enough, I am not brave enough, I am not competent enough, and more and more not enough keep going on my mind. I always compare myself with other people, hence I become less satisfied with myself. Although I always remind myself that just be my own, I don’t have to admire other people life. However, my inner conflict always appeared to tell me that I am not good enough.
THAT I DON’T HAVE WHAT IT TAKES… TO SUCCEED.
that I need outside validation to feel like I am enough
