Day 26 of 30 Days of Bravery

👁 INTENTION
Today, let’s embrace discomfort in a way that befriends fear, dissipates harmful stress, and cultivates courageous action toward inspired goals.
In today’s hustle, it’s easy to label all stress as the enemy. But what if we flipped the script? Imagine transforming stress into a powerful ally, channeling it to propel us towards our dreams.
Today, we harness the energy of eustress—positive stress that enhances our performance and well-being.
Together, let’s reshape our relationship with stress, using it as a catalyst for growth and a beacon guiding us to our braver selves.

💡 INSPIRED POEM

In the dance of life, we twirl and sway,
embracing discomfort, we find our way.
Fear is a partner, hand in hand,
guiding us into beautiful new land.
Each wave we surf, uncertain but bold,
transforming our hearts, courage untold.
The fire of challenge, burning bright,
ignites our purpose, our inner light.

doing healthy stress things that brings me joy such as exercise, writing, reading and talking with people to create meaning.
My journey is extremely stressful… I’m essentially homeless. I live day by day but it’s taught me to ask for help when I need it. Most importantly it has taught me that I am strong. I can get through anything
I am not a fan of any stress. I guess going back to school is allowing in healthy stress to my life because I am choosing to do my master’s program. It is not being forced on me.
I’ve always been a bad stress head and not a good stress/eustress Head, which I’m working to turn the tables on. I do more of what feels good (sometimes is very uncomfortable) and less of what I’m doing to just go through the motions, which still stresses me out. I am no longer stressing or having anxiety about my corporate role as I have aligned it to a positive stress of the way to get me to my goal of owning my own business, which excites me. I now only go things at the gym that feel good, still pushes me but feels good instead of just doing what I’m told and my body hurting later. Turning the tables on stress feels amazing
Sometimes a slight sense of despair (a want aligned with the anger that what I want is simply not there and a fear that if I don’t move things will simply remain unideal) creates the impulse to get me to calculate what’s required to kick off some motion and get going. The tricky bit happens when that little dispair is there but there’s apparently nothing I can do but wait for life to unfold. Then that stress seems to build up into a ball of tension in my chest, an accelerated thinking that leads nowhere, and a depleted focus on everything else I need to do or pursue in my day. How to best deal with this wait?
There are so many things right now that I could let stress me out, main ones currently being I don’t know where I am going to live in Sept, and I also don’t know where I will be working. I’m traveling all of August so I’m also not entirely sure when it will all get sorted out, but…. for once in my life, I am actually not letting it get to me. Deep down I have this belief/sense of everything happening for reason/that I am being guided into what’s next for me. So even though it’s all a bit nerve wracking in the moment, it’s also kind of empowering to sort of just let go and believe that come next fall I will have an amazing new place to live (all to myself) AND an amazing new job.
So the healthy stress I can invite in is not fearing the unknown but believing that it will lead to great things. It shifts it from stress to excitement.
I will finish my novel I am writing by making small sacrifices and not wasting time on things I don’t need to do , so much time is wasted
I embrace uncomfortable – I know I will be stronger – I am still laughing
I can incorporate more healthy stress by choosing to engage socially more often.
It is difficult for me to reach out to others, but every effort I make, it becomes easier. Having people involved in my life makes me feel energized.
I’m starting a new online business! Healthy stress!
