Gracefully Overcoming Challenges with a Growth Mindset

In the garden of the soul, a seed is sown,
nurtured with love, its true essence grown,
Through sun and storm, the roots run deep,
a growth mindset, a treasure to keep.

Tending our thoughts, like flowers in bloom,
resilience blossoms, as fears we consume.
With courage we dance, in life's shifting sands,
embracing change, with open hands.

  1. I lost all hope of trying to overcome my anxiety and trying to be more confident, until I stumbeled upon this challenge which has had a great impact on my life already. I stepped out of my comfort zone ALOT and I was terrified, even though it’s small things like wlaking home by myself or starting a conversation first, I still felt so proud when I completed these tasks. I will continue moving forward and one day I will find myself again.

  2. My time with this program has been a journey to find who I am now that I have lost all the people I was taking care of. After spending 15 years plus as a care giver to my family, I am without that. I see my kids making a mess of my neat and tidy house, and upsetting me in the process. These are adults. With that, I find that with set backs, I handle by accepting what I am feeling, I find what made me feel the way I do, and I accept that I will try to overcome my fear or anger, and if it is something that does not work for me, to have the ability to walk away from it. I won’t not try, but I will not put myself in a situation where I feel frustrated.

  3. I took action every day to write the first text of my thesis. Each day I complete a very real list of tasks. I am very happy because with this strategic I ‘v learned that all roads begins with one step, and a second, and a third. I am very hopeful I can do my work on time without wasting time in worries.

  4. I have been actively consistent with decluttering (books, clothes, dishes, linen, basement stuff, etc.), every day bagging something more for the big downsizing move. I have also sold about 5-6 things on Craig’s List, but that’s much slower than just giving stuff away. I am growing!

  5. I have chosen to focus less on negativity and focus more on what is positive. I take time every day to look in the mirror and recite positive affirmations toward myself. I’m finding that I am more relaxed and at peace , able to speak up more for myself and respect who I am. Eating healthier, but still need to find my mojo in an exercise routine. Funny thing is I found myself angry lately, which is in a way a good thing, instead of feeling unworthy, but I am working through it using tools I have gained. Everything is slowly coming together.

  6. Journal entries over the past month have been consistent because I committed to do them and not worry about being perfect. I think if I directed that same energy toward other tasks that I feel are insurmountable or intimidating I would be able to accomplish so much more.

  7. Since I began 30 days of brave I have started into business for myself, something I never thought I could do. But the 30 day challenge was my inspiration and motivation. Thank you, intention inspired!!!

  8. My goal was to love myself more and hate myself less. It was to get use to living again ,being independant and content with my life instead of codependent and seeking destructive behaviors to escape reality and I can say that this challenge has really helped me even though I don’t post everyday I do check my email for the later inspiration and read the blog and another sure sign that I’m making progress is that I’ve started to embrace the new day thing everyday realizing it’s a new start and a new chance to go on an adventure and find atleast some form of positivity out there or something that will nurse me back to life . Oh and so far I’ve faced a few really hard things too like I recently let go of an ex, I set boundaries for friends and I don’t check social media as much anymore to compare myself to others!
I wish all of you the best on whatever it is you are trying to tackle.
