💡 INSPIRED POEM

In the garden of life, where flowers bloom,
let us invite courage to enlighten the gloom.
With persistent steps, in the face of strife,
breathe life's rhythm, a fearless, boundless life.
As rivers flow, we bend and sway,
persistent warriors, we forge our way.
With courage, let us face the fears that bind,
an untamed spirit, a fierce, fearless mind.

💬 QUOTE

“Anyone who has a why to live can bear almost any what.”
– Friedrich Nietzsche, a philosopher known for his radical ideas on individuality, morality, and the nature of existence, challenges us to find our profound “why” – our reason to endure and thrive through life's myriad challenges.

🧬 SCIENCE
Studies show that self-control and persistence are crucial for long-term success (Moffitt et al., 2011) and grit (a combination of passion and perseverance) was found to be a better predictor of success than intelligence (Duckworth et al., 2007).
Don't let setbacks define your journey; let persistence pave your way to greatness! Tap into your grit and harness the self-control needed to overcome obstacles.

📿 MANTRA
I am what I repeatedly do.

This mantra reminds us that our habits define us more than our moments of inspiration. What small habit can you develop today that reflects the persistent person you aspire to be? Let this mantra be your guiding light, leading you back to your path whenever you stray.

🧘 MEDITATION
In today's 3-minute meditation, Jaron invites us into a deep reflection on the ever-changing nature of a river—observing its persistence, adaptability, and discipline to cultivate personal power, freedom, and focus on a singular vision.

✍🏼 JOURNAL PROMPTS
Bring to mind a recent moment you felt like giving up, but didn’t.
…
What was it that pulled you forward despite the urge to quit?

🙏 MICRO ACT OF BRAVERY
Today, let's choose a small, harmless activity that pushes us outside of our comfort zone and helps us face fear or insecurity.
This could be as simple as starting a conversation with a stranger, taking a short cold shower, or speaking up in a group setting. By practicing these small acts of bravery consistently, we're building our resilience and confidence to handle hard things, ultimately preparing us for bigger challenges and goals.

📣 AFFIRMATION
- Every day, I grow stronger and more courageous as I persevere through challenges and obstacles.
- I am brave and resilient; no matter how many times I fall, I will always rise and keep moving forward.
- With each step I take, I am developing the fortitude and courage necessary to face any situation life presents.
- I trust in my ability to persist and overcome, as this bravery empowers me to achieve my goals and dreams.

My daughter. Showing her persistence and resilience and bravery is so important. If I give up…if I quit, I’m not demonstrating qualities I want her to learn and emulate. If I feel like giving up, I think of her, and what both the act of giving up would do to her in direct and indirect consequences. I have to move forward. I have to press on.
The fact that I made a committment to do it is what pulled be through the hard times.
In the past I’ve given up studying and pushing for things I want because I didn’t honk I was worth it, worth the outcome they would bring. Now I’m pushing through the study I’m doing to enable me to have success in my business
The thought that if I don’t the fear and avoidance are only going to grow and make my life harder
In the past I gave up my studies for multiple reasons and because I didn’t felt like it but now, after failing the most important course of the year, even though I find it really unfair, I kept going and didn’t give up..
Friends helped me through that tough time and hope kept me going.. You never know what might happen after all.
What pulled me forward despite the urge to quit? This is going to sound egotistical but it’s not meant in that way at all. I didn’t quit, I didn’t give up on the idea because I know deep down that I deserve it.
What pulled me forward? My love and appreciation for myself, what I want, what I know I am capable of and the future I want to have.
What pulled me forward was the understanding that if I don’t do this, if I don’t take the steps to change, my life will never be what I want it to be. I have this chance now, and if I’m miserable the way things are, then it’s time to get going. 🙂
My Faith
The desire that pushes me is my innate desire to learn and to do meaningful work.
Every day, I move forward with the intention to do the best I can with what I have. Even when others look at me with disdain, I know that I have fought to do my best.
Right now, my desire to be fit, propels me to keep working out everyday.
Even if I don’t feel like it, or my personal life is exploding around me. (it is!!)
Sometimes, I just want to give up, but I don’t! I keep keeping on!!
