DISCIPLINED – DEEP DIVE

It’s a widespread belief that discipline depends heavily on willpower. If we are blessed with lots of it, we will find it easy to follow our routine and reach our goals. On the other hand, if we are low on willpower, we will struggle and give in to our destructive urges and desires.

According to a study by Stanford University, willpower is nothing more than a belief system we developed over time. If we believe that we are lazy and not capable of self-control, it is just a matter of time until we’ll give up on our goal. If we want to move forward and take advantage of all the fantastic opportunities life has to offer, we need to take personal responsibility and discipline ourselves.

Begin with a defined period of time and one bad habit. We challenge you to let go of one bad habit and abstain from it as you complete the whole 30 Days of Enlightenment. Examples of bad habits may include smoking, drinking too much coffee, complaining, watching too much television, etc.
