Our lifestyle is becoming busier every day. There is not enough time to accomplish everything we want to. A common approach would tell us to multitask or increase the speed by which we tackle our tasks, but that would cause severe consequences to our wellbeing in the long-term. To get more things done, we need to be well. And to be well, we must allow ourselves to slow down.
During your next meal time, be intentional to eat more slowly. Chew every bite, enjoy the different tastes, and surrender to the moment by savoring each sensation. Once you manage to truly slow down and become present, this state will bring you a sense of confident patience that is needed for completing your daily tasks.
