An Affirmation and Exercise to Let Your Love Bloom

[dropcap2]There is nothing more powerful than the energy of love.[/dropcap2]

Love can move mountains and make miracles. To love and be loved is the purpose of life. Pure love starts from within.

An Affirmation of Love

I look within my soul at all of the qualities that make me who I am. I grow to accept and embrace myself; self-love blossoms. The confidence, peace, and joy around who I am allows the love inside me to bloom into a beautiful flower. I willingly give my petals to others and spread my love. As I give, I receive and the love in my soul continues to flower. I am filled with love. I become love. I am love.

“Wouldn't it be powerful if you fell in love with yourself so deeply that you would do just about anything if you knew it would make you happy? This is precisely how much life loves you and wants you to nurture yourself. The deeper you love yourself, the more the universe will affirm your worth. Then you can enjoy a lifelong love affair that brings you the richest fulfillment from inside out.” ~Alan Cohen

An Act of Love

Take ten minutes to journal or make a list about self-love. What do you love most about yourself? List your positive attributes, greatest strengths, special qualities and gifts. What is it about you that makes you uniquely amazing?

“Since love grows within you, so beauty grows. For love is the beauty of the soul.”

Watering the Seeds of Love

As you read and reflect on what you love about yourself, notice how it feels to bring awareness to who you truly you are. Every single quality you notice and have is a reason why you are deserving and worthy of love. Keep watering the flower inside of you with awareness of your gifts, acceptance of your imperfections, and acknowledgment of your magnificence. Let love bloom inside your soul and let it shine out of you so others can blossom as well.

Is it possible to have attained self love and then somehow lose it? Would this make the previous idea of believing in my own self love a falacy or is it still sonething that was real?

I am not in despair, but when it comes to writing a list about my positive attributes, it becomes really hard. For every single aspect I consider, there´s like a second voice inside that redimensions whatever I thought but in a negative way… I´ll think about this throughout the day. Let´s see what I can write this evening. I commit to it.
Thank you, good food for thought.
