Day 3 of 365 Days of Miracles

π A COURSE IN MIRACLES
Lesson 3
“I do not understand anything I see in this room [on this street, from this window, in this place].”
- Apply this idea in the same way as the previous ones, without making distinctions of any kind. Β²Whatever you see becomes a proper subject for applying the idea. Β³Be sure that you do not question the suitability of anything for application of the idea. β΄These are not exercises in judgment. β΅Anything is suitable if you see it. βΆSome of the things you see may have emotionally charged meaning for you. β·Try to lay such feelings aside, and merely use these things exactly as you would anything else.
- The point of the exercises is to help you clear your mind of all past associations, to see things exactly as they appear to you now, and to realize how little you really understand about them. Β²It is therefore essential that you keep a perfectly open mind, unhampered by judgment, in selecting the things to which the idea for the day is to be applied. Β³For this purpose one thing is like another; equally suitable and therefore equally useful.

π INTENTION
Today's lesson invites us to release our attachment to understanding and embrace the mystery of what we perceive. By setting aside judgment, we learn to see everything with new, open eyes, free from past associations.
Open your mind to the idea that your current perceptions are shaped by past conditioning. What might it feel like to see without labels? Ready to let go of the need to define and simply experience?

π§ REFLECT
Pause and take a breath.
Look around you and notice what feelings arise as you realize you donβt fully understand what you see.
Let curiosity, not judgment, guide you.

βπΌ JOURNAL
Write about one thing you see that feels familiar.
What past stories or meanings have you attached to it?
Now imagine letting those stories go.
How does it change the way you perceive this object?

β¨ PRACTICE
Choose three objects near youβa cup, a book, and a chair, for example. Gaze at each object and say:
“I do not understand this [object].”
Notice how it feels to acknowledge the unknown.

π PRAY
Divine Spirit,
Help me release the need to define, judge, or understand.
May I see all things with fresh, open eyes.
Guide me into the peace of unknowing.

π£ AFFIRM
I embrace the mystery of what I see with love.

π KUDOS
Bravo! Youβve made space for curiosity today, peeling back the layers of perception. Keep that sense of wonder alive as you move through your day. π
