Today, let's attract more wealth with simple practices that will amplify our inner wealth consciousness.

In “A Happy Pocket Full of Money,” David Gikandi clarifies what money is and emphasizes the power of wealth consciousness. As we align with the wealthy parts of our Self, and release the patterns that prevent wealth from flowing more freely, we naturally create more financial abundance.

Key takeaways:

  • πŸ’Έ Money is a representation of value.
  • 🧘 Develop internal value and external money will rise correspondingly.
  • πŸ”‘ Expand wealth consciousness through awareness and intention.
  • πŸ’ Observe how thoughts and feelings attract or detract money.
  • 🧚 State of being is the most effective method for wealth creation.

To build external wealth, build internal value and then exercise it.

Look at the value within you and within people, and the flowing and exchanging of value between people. Our internal value is what creates money. Develop this internal value in yourself and in others, and exernal money and wealth with rise correspondingly—automatically and without fail.

The fastest way to create is simply to be, right now, whatever you wish to create. Then do not negate it by thought. Do not think about it. Just be. All your thoughts, words, and actions after that should be of the new state you chose to be.

― David Cameron Gikandi, author of A Happy Pocket Full of Money

A study published in the Journal of Consumer Psychology reveals the interplay between our mindsets about wealth and our financial decisions. It found that individuals with a growth mindset, who view their skills and abilities as malleable, tend to have healthier financial behaviors. They are more likely to save money, less likely to engage in risky financial behaviors, and experience less financial stress. This underlines the importance of developing a wealth consciousness (like we're doing right now).

Now is the time to transform our mindset and invite prosperity into our lives.

Altering our thoughts, words, and actions are certainly ways to create our reality … but a quicker, more efficient method is by altering our state of being. And while external factors influence our state of being, we can choose to enter any particular state of being anytime, anywhere.

To attain wealth, it's far more potent for us to embody a state of wealth—right here, right now. We must feel wealthy and exude wealth in our thoughts, words, and actions. If we harbor a sense of poverty while trying to act wealthy, becoming truly wealthy will be more of a struggle.

Let's notice the state of being we embody each time money is involved throughout the day. How does the body respond when we swipe our card for an expensive purchase? As we tighten from financial stressors, let's respond by softening the body and choosing thoughts that allow wealth to be more of our default way of being.

In today's 5-minute meditation, we'll use the image of an abundant river to acknowledge our fears, dismantle barriers to wealth, and affirm our worthiness, welcoming abundance into our lives.

I am wealth. I am abundance. I am joy. Every action I take is rooted in prosperity. I visualize my goals, and I attract the resources to fulfill them. I am constantly expanding, and money is a reflection of my internal growth. With every breath, I generate value and welcome wealth.

Reflect and feel into the areas of your life where you already are abundant.

For example:

  • Home Sweet Home 🏠 Do you have a comfortable place to eat and sleep?
  • Loving Relationships πŸ‘©‍πŸ‘§‍πŸ‘¦ Do you have caring and supportive family and friends?
  • Travel Adventures 🌍 Do you get to explore different environments and experience different cultures?
  • Health and Wellness 🌱 Do you enjoy physical movement and mental exploration?
  • Lifelong Learning πŸ“š Do you have resources and opportunities to expand your knowledge?
  • Freedom of Mobility πŸš— Do you get to travel conveniently and comfortably?
  • Food and Nutrition πŸ₯— Do you have convenient access to a variety of nutritious food?
  • Time Freedom ⏰ Do you have the flexibility to spend time on activities that make your soul sing?
  • Generosity 🎁 Do you get to give back to others?
  • Celebrations πŸŽ‰ Do you get to honor various achievements in life?
  • Art and Culture 🎢 Do you enjoy diverse forms of art, music, and cultural experiences?
  • Nature's Bounty 🌳 Do you have access to green spaces for relaxation and rejuvenation?
Journal Prompt

How does having money in your pocket or bank account make you feel?

Describe that which makes you wealthy.

Do you have enough wealth?

Where do you need more?

Where/how will you get it?

Releasing Ritual

As Rumi said, “Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.

Now, replace the word “love” with anything that you desire (money, security, freedom, …).

Awareness of the barriers creates the power to remove them. So let's cultivate more awareness into our money barriers with this dramatic releasing ritual:

  1. πŸ•―οΈ Light a candle
  2. πŸ’΅ Get a dollar bill, a Sharpie, and an ash tray.
  3. ✍️ Write down any limiting beliefs you have about wealth (yes, on the dollar).
  4. πŸ”₯ Burn the dollar as you visualize those beliefs dissolving.
  5. πŸ‘οΈ Watch as a wealth of thoughts and emotions flow through.
Healing Process

Identify any parts of yourself that hold fear or resistance towards abundance and wealth. Show them love and reassurance. Remember, they were created to protect you. Let them know it's safe now to accept abundance.

I am an infinite being, the source of my wealth is infinite and boundless. I consciously embrace abundance in my life. I choose to let go of all beliefs, patterns and thoughts that limit my wealth. My positive feelings and thoughts about money attract it to me easily and effortlessly. I am worthy of receiving prosperity and wealth. The universe supports me and meets my financial needs abundantly. I am open to money coming to me from new and unexpected sources. Every day, in every way, I am becoming more and more prosperous. I choose abundance, I choose wealth, and I am ready to receive. The wealth I seek is already within me.

  1. Wow! I really love the idea about finding the value within people as well as myself. This mindset will help me grow and appreciate more of who I already have in my life… And who I will meet in the future.

Many years ago, I was able to change my mindset from focusing on what I didn’t have to appreciating what I did. Once I did this, my abundance began to manifest and grow. My relationships grew stronger and more meaningful. I stopped worrying about having enough (money, things, friends), because I discovered I had way more than what I needed. I was happier. I was more confident. This let me to be able to get better paying and more fulfilling jobs. I was able to not only pay my bills, but I was able to pay off all of my debt, and be able to have a savings account. (Saving for a trip to Alaska!). Most importantly, I was able to stress less! That is where the value lies for me.

Being able to share about some of my past experience is helping me to see more of the value and confidence in myself. I consistently see the value in my family and close friends. Today, I am going to focus on finding the value in others that I meet for the first time!

    • What an uplifting journey you’ve shared with us, Roxanna! 😊 Embracing gratitude for what you have and appreciating those around you truly changes the game. πŸŽ‰ It’s like discovering a hidden treasure within you and the world! 🌟

You’ve found strength and happiness in appreciating what you already have, and in doing so, opened the door to more abundance. Talk about leveling up! πŸ‘πŸ’ͺ It’s fantastic to hear about your newfound financial stability and I’m excited for your planned trip to Alaska! πŸ”οΈβœˆοΈ

You’re a testament to the saying that change starts within. It’s a blessing to hear how you’re extending this mindset to strangers too. 🌍 Remember, every person you meet holds a valuable lesson or experience to learn from. Keep on growing and inspiring others with your journey! πŸ™ŒπŸ’–πŸŽˆ
