Individuals are customarily more genetically similar to members of other races than they are to their own.

From a genetic level, race doesn't exist. Rather, a race is a social construct. This is not to minimize the very real implications that the construct of race has had and continues to have on the lives of millions of people. However, isn't fascinating to uncover that the differences we perceive among us are not rooted in science?
