  1. I am a glass half empty girl, I feel that I always look at the negatives to try to fix them but then spiral further and get into too much detail and become further negative. My job of 15 years has,I think attributed to the way I think, I need to forecast what is likely to happen to disrupt plans so looking for negatives but donโ€™t see the positive side. I see the need for balance and to shift my thoughts towards being more positive, today I am going to recognise the positives in today and list them, I look forward to be more happier and balanced me.

  2. With self confidence a whole world opens up. It is basically the key to a sea of opportunities. We see chances instead of dangers. Therefore it is forming a symbiosis with willingness.

    Darkness becomes light.

  3. My entire perspective of the event changes. This is quite hard for me because I am natually a negative person. When I focus on the positive I am open to good things happening in my life.

  4. Hello all,
When i manage to focus on positive thoughts instead of the negative ones, i feel a sense of ease, clarity and relief.
Some opportunities that arise that I get to open my heart more, think better and do better.
    Thank you.
I hope you all divert to positivity.

  5. Positivity always works better for me…whatever I focus on trends to grow so I try to be positive, when I notice myself being critical of self or others or drift into worry, I no longer beat myself up, I gently try to refocus…its practice, not perfection and it creates a constant balancing act in my life!

  6. What happens when I overcome the negativity? I get out of my own way. Its amazing how much a shift in energy/perspective can do. For me its not necessarily about the new opportunities that arise, its more so a new way of seeing things. An ability to really connect and be present. An appreciation comes out of it where I am able to physically be grateful for literally everything in my life, and excited about whats to come.

  7. When I manage to overcome my negative thoughts with positive ones I feel a sense of contentment, and I can be happy and free of judgement and condemning others. The reason being is because I have accepted people places and things for just the way they are in the moment. Then positive attitude follows me and my actions.
So many opportunities arise from this shift. I feel better, I eat better, My health improves, my relationships improve, my mind opens up to many different new things, and I love others more.I am a firm believer in we have to be what we want. If we want positive, we have to be positive, if we are negative, we wil attract negative. Today I choose to see positive in life rather than dragging others around me down with the negative.

  8. That “sacred pause,” often accompanied by a deep breath, has powerful potential to shift negative thoughts, bitter feelings, and fearful reaction into the enlightening possibility of opportunity, excitement, and love.

  9. Gratitude sucks the air out of negativity. It’s almost impossible to be grateful and negative at the same time. When I’m focusing on the negative, feeling bad about myself and the world, and (yes) feeling sorry for myself, I remind myself to be grateful. I make myself name at least three things I’m grateful for and concentrate on them. Why am I grateful for them? How do they make me feel? Gratitude tends to make everything else look smaller – like being on the beach and being aware of the magnitude of the ocean. Gratitude is the ocean, and when I concentrate on it, the size of my problems seem miniature compared to the majesty and beauty and miracle of a very old tree (an example of something I’m always grateful for). I’m not minimizing problems people have. They are very real and can be very serious and threatening to our well-being. And realistically, gratitude won’t make problems outside ourselves go away. But gratitude will make negative thoughts go away and free up the mind for a clearer approach to those problems.
