JOURNAL PROMPT
One key to cultivating resourcefulness is to focus on solutions rather than problems. Keep this in mind as you explore the following journal prompts:
- What are three resources that you have readily available to you right now that you can utilize to solve a problem or achieve a goal?
- Think of a time when you faced a difficult challenge. How did you overcome it? What resources did you use? What could you have done differently?
- Make a list of five new skills or abilities that you would like to learn. What resources can you use to help you acquire these skills? How can you integrate them into your daily routine?
- Identify a problem or obstacle that you are currently facing. Write down three possible solutions to this problem. For each solution, list the resources you would need to implement it successfully.
- Write about a time when you were forced to be resourceful. What did you learn from that experience? How can you apply those lessons to other areas of your life?
- Imagine that you are starting a new project or venture. Write down a list of potential obstacles or challenges that you may encounter. Then, brainstorm a list of resources that you can use to overcome them.
- Write about a time when you felt stuck or uninspired. What resources did you use to help you get unstuck? How can you continue to use those resources in the future?
- Identify a goal that you have been struggling to achieve. Write down three different approaches that you could take to achieve that goal. For each approach, list the resources you would need to make it work.
Remember, the goal of these journal prompts is to help you think creatively and develop your problem-solving skills. Don't be afraid to try new things or consider unconventional solutions.
