WILLING – DEEP DIVE

Willingness isn’t just reflected in one’s courage to face difficult or daunting challenges in life. It’s also about the eagerness to experience life with a broad sense of wonder and curiosity. When we’re not willing to take action, it doesn’t necessarily mean that we are scared or lazy. It could very likely be that we have temporarily lost our childlike sense of wonder and that we need to become curious about the task that lays before us.

To remedy the lack of willingness in your life, pick an everyday chore that you have been procrastinating to complete. Decide that you will do it today and approach it like you are doing it for the first time in your life. Dignify the completion of your task with your full attention, the innocence of a small child, and an open mind at all times.

“Remember how exciting it was the first time? That thrill can be experienced again and again … and again.”
